_{The Excalibur British Shorthair Cattery is FeLv/FIV negative. All of the Excalibur British Shorthair cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLv) and are negative. Testing your Excalibur British Shorthair upon arrival for FeLv, is recommended if you need confirmation of FeLv negativity with your veterinarian.}

_{Excalibur British Shorthair cats and kittens have been fully vaccinated for panoleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, and calicivirus. Upon the advice of your veterinarian, you may want to have a booster shot given at 6-8 months of age, with a follow-up vaccination every year after.}

_{British Shorthair cats are very healthy as a breed, however, they do have a tendency towards bad teeth and gingivitis. Their teeth and gums cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, it is very important that you have your vet inspect the gums at their yearly physical exam and then provide dental prophylaxis when necessary.}

_{Excalibur British Shorthair cats will be sold free of fungus and fleas. However, since cats and kittens are exposed to other animals during shipping, Excalibur British Shorthair can NOT absolutely guarantee against fungus and fleas, since these problems can transmitted during shipping. Your cat/kitten will have been examined by our veterinarian prior to shipping and it's health will be confirmed.}

_{Excalibur British Shorthair is always pleased to hear about one of our kittens/cats who is approaching old age as their life span is important to us. An occasional note about your kitten/cats well being would be appreciated. We also want to know should your cat die young. If this should occur at any age, from a cause that could reasonably be suspected to be an inherited condition, we will replace the cat with one of equal value after a written pathology report from a veterinary teaching hospital (as an example, Oregon State University) is mailed to us. We will honor this replacement guarantee as long as Excalibur British Shorthair is breeding British cats. Excalibur British Shorthair will replace the cat in question as soon as possible, but no longer than 1 year from the date documentation of the cause of death is received.}
